Cause he wanted to have sleepovers. He was a kid who spent 50 years in a man's body. One of the biggest freaks known to man, but still a legend.
OJ was not guilty cause Johnny Cochrane used the Chewbacca defence.

Re: Michael Jackson dead after cardiac arrest
Forgetting the second half of his career when he was caught up in scandals and morphed into Wacko Jacko, I remember this moment like it was yesterday. It was one of the most electric TV performances that kicked off Michael-mania big time. It's all anybody was talking about the next day. And the day after. And the week after. Don't tell me none of you 80s babies never tried to copy his moonwalk or any of his other moves.

Re: Michael Jackson dead after cardiac arrest
Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and MJ all in one week??!?!!!! and the week isn't over... DAMN. Who's next?
RIP all of you.
P.S. If you took away all of the creepiness that is MJ's private life, you'd see a hell of a performer. So many hip hop dancers have taken his moves and just WOW. And the songs were fun.
But he was still creepy.
PPS: Is there anyone else who wants to see what's been under the mask all these years?

Re: Michael Jackson dead after cardiac arrest
He made some great music.
He had a life I wouldn't wish on anyone.
RIP.

That sums it up.
His creditors aren't going to be pissed off, they'll soon be rolling in money. How does the lyric go? "At the record company party, on their hands a dead star.." Though I guess the music biz can't cash in the way it used to.
It's also going to be open season (more than ever) on Michael Jackson as far as stories go.

there will be at least 3 Best Of-s, a boxset with his albums remastered and a couple of Demos and rarities releases

Yep, the best way to make a hell lot of cash in the music industry is, sadly enough, to die before your time.
Ask Elvis, Hendrix, Curtis, Joplin, Morrison, Cobain, etc.
Too bad it will only be the Music Industry Vultures making a profit out of it.
