Hi mate,

Just wondering if I can get a little advice.

As you might remember I am a Wilson fan and am very happy with what I've got.

But just for a change I was thinking about buying a Babolat.

Is there one you can recommend that's a good all round racquet for a competent player.

I generally prefer a lighter stick but am looking for something that's got a fair degree of power but isn't too tough to control.

Any ideas on a Babolat or anything else for that matter would be appreciated.

sorry for the late reply, i'm down at eastbourne stringing the event there.

babolats are generally a little more powerful. the pure drive is a very popular, intermediate kind of racket, with a slight emphasis on power. the aero pro drive is similar but a little more control oriented. or, on the more classic side of things is the pure storm, which has a traditional beam shape and more of an emphasis on feel and control, while still providing decent power. the aero storm is similar, just with the aero beam shape, which gives a touch more power
