To MTF tennis players, who are you on the ATP
If you actually play tennis, what kind of tennis do you play. Which player on the ATP world tour has a game like yours?
I have good forehands and backhands (one hander ) when hitting down the line, but for some crazy reason I struggle to hit cross-court of both wings. A girlish serve (no offense to anyone) but i make up with well placed chipped returns. I am oftenly clumsy when rushing to the net but once there I can do all types of volleys, stop volley being a personal favorite.
I also struggle with high bouncing balls, especially on the forehand side where my forehand slice is really poor. Oh, I also tend to have concetration lapses in my matches. I have no idea who on the ATP i resemble.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Re: To MTF tennis players, who are you on the ATP
Interesting thread. I have actually thought about doing before
I have a two-handed backhand. Forehand better than backhand, prefer forehand. I am consistent. I mix up my serve with the spins and can make it pretty precise but its not overpowering. Court movement and speed is one of my strenghts.
I have concluded that I play like a mixture between Davydenko and Ferrer.

I'll give you 3 guesses.
Although I try to be more aggresive.

Guess 2, if need be: Monfils?

I'm like Roger Federer only without the slams.

Tennis has no blood passport system, and does basically no out of competition testing.
The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

Well one of my weaknesses is that I get to tentative and my shots become weaker and I begin to hug the baseline too much and my opponents smack winners on me (after 3 shots that I amazingly return of course due to speed ).

Re: To MTF tennis players, who are you on the ATP
I've always played fed's style, when i'm on no one can beat me but unfortunately i'm always off
My volleys are godly for doubles but my BH sucks vs high moonballs in the corner! oh yep i have more double faults than Coria.

Black Adam how is your BH down the line? ETA: didn't read properly.
Wawrinka perhaps then.

Re: To MTF tennis players, who are you on the ATP
Oh yeah my single handed BH is SUPER consistent unless the ball is VERY high to corner :P.. if i hit a forehand close to net it has A LOT of topspin ala nadull but if i have to hit from backcourt i hit it very flat. well my biggest weakness is serve..not power but i am a big choker when it comes to serve.

Gasquet quality, I can even do it on the run. Whenever I try to go cross-court it it's at best a short moonball that easilyt put away. The only effective crosscourt backhand I can do is a deep slice.
I also can do good forehand lobs, although same problem of poor cross-court passing shots

That would be traumatising...
Now seriously, I feel myself identified with my favourite player out there, STAN the MAN. My biggest shot is my one handed backhand, especially DTL. My first serve isn't too fast but accurate and reliable enough to give me a good first groundstroke (yup, grown on clay). My forehand is decent except the one DTL, which sucks invariably. I guess clay has given me the natural good defence it gives to everyone which helps while you have fuel to go on, cause I'm not very fit these days (see? just like Stan ).

Re: To MTF tennis players, who are you on the ATP
I have experimented with Del Potro style (being more mechanical with my shots). it does give me more power but I only felt comfortable doing it on high balls. So I scrapped the idea after my consistency suffered.
