Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
I am worried about the Haas match as well, Haas seemed in good form on clay so how will it be on a surface on which he is much more comfortable When playing well he is capable of not letting Jo dictate, so Jo will have to play a very good match tomorrow but he can do it. Good luck Jo

Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
Jo is down 3-5 in the first set vs Haas. Haas is serving now.

Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
Ah ah what's happening? Looks like they both decided they wouldn't hit second serves any more.

Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
jo was 0-40 down on his serve and if I'm not mistaken he served 5 aces in a row to win the game.

Among those five he served 2 aces and one unreturnable on second serve. All were upward of 200km/h I believe

I'm calling it now, Haas is the favourite for Wimbledon. Absolutely unbreakable.

Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
Jo wasn't great but Haas was very good, continuing his form from the first 2 sets against Fed at RG, and this was on grass this time, a surface on which he more comfortable. So I'm disappointed with the result but not exactly surprised. What is Jo going to do next week now? Is he playing that exhibition, or will he try for a WC at Eastbourne?

I wasn't sure what happened there, my livestream was buffering and I saw no play throughout the set. All I saw was Jo serving and serving again.
Too bad he lost. Haas played some nice points during the tiebreak.

Re: Grass Season Thread 2009
I missed the match too. Haas can be a tricky customer, every now and again he displays some of the form which got him to number 2 in the world. Shame for Jo
