I challenge commentators the world over to stop comparing Tsonga with Ali.

The methods and drugs used by Armstrong in 1999 would work in tennis right now, with zero chance of being caught (not slightly surprising to anyone familiar with the topic, btw).

At one point Brad Gilbert said some-one's draw was gratuitous. I think he was reaching for fortuitous.

Certainly an odd choice of words, but gratuitous also means "free of charge". Make of that what you wish.

simply terrible
I had to listen to her for over 2 hours of the Andreev/Fognini match. All she did was state how fascinating Fognini was.

Who the **** is that annoying american prick commentating the end of Verdasco-Almagro on Tennis Channel??
Perhaps the worst commentator ever!
Talking during points is horrendous: "Good serve out wide. Nice forehand. Going cross court, etc"
Could you shut the **** up, already?! We're not blind, you know.

Not sure who it is. It could be Doug Adler, but not sure as I am not watching that one. I am watching Davy and Wawrinka with the Kiwi Matt Brown.

He used to do the US Open on USA. He is awful, everytime someone uses a drop shot he whispers "drop shot!".

You mean the Yank or the Kiwi. He just called Almagro Nicola.

commentators keep talking about a court named Suzanne Longlong.

the spanish tv commentator in the Nadal match said Hewitt has won a clay title this year "albeit on Houston clay, which is a green kind of clay but clay nonetheless".
