Sub-Forum Closing!!!
Don't you think that the site would run faster if we closed some or all of these forums, as these players are retired or haven't played in a while, have dropped out of the rankings, etc...

There are other people like Karol Beck who should not have gotten them in the first place, but that's another story.
If we closed the ones above and/or others it would give us room to add other's who have promising futures with out worrying about the site slowing up too much  |

Great thinking Greg!! Omg this is soooo needed. Nobody cares about a lot of these people with sub-forums now. This will also make more space for players on the borderline of getting their own sub-forum, great idea.
Also we could review these guys like Karol Beck and Amer Delic who shouldnt have gotten them ever, well nevermind just screw it.

We've been told in the past that closing sub-forums will not help the site load faster nor will it "make room" for other subforums... we've asked

Close the sub forums of Gaudio and Dent? You must be kidding right. Maybe close some of those listed like the Henman one but closing the Gaudio one would be crazy.

as mentioned above I don't think closing a subforum would make the site faster
maybe deleting would, but that's not an option
plus I think there's numerous more important issues the responsible people should deal with

well I added the option to not delete any of them  (you forgot Corretja, Costa.....)
1. Some of these players are still on the tour 
2. These players still have fans who follow whatever it is they do now.
Doubt it will make MTF faster anyway.... so, no point... like Deb said.
