Carlos Oliveira, 32 years old, won the title by beating seed #2 Leonardo Kirche in a close match, 4-6 7-5 7-6(8).

Oliveira said he was all the match behind Kirche in the score. Oliveira, when was 27 years old, left the pro career and was only teaching/coaching tennis until last year.

In the doubles final, Fernando Romboli/Nicolas Santos (BRA) d. Leonardo Kirche/Juan Manuel Valverde (BRA/ARG) 6-7(5) 6-4 10-7.
