I was just wondering who else out there uses extreme western grips? My grip on the forehand is just about halfway between a typical western grip and a Hawaiian grip. Just wondering who shares my style.
(I use a semi-western on the one-handed backhand)

Wow, that sounds like a pretty uncomfortable grip, but if it works for you then fair enough.

I've generally gotten more western on my forehand over the years, and more to the east on my backhand. I'm somewhere between semi-western and full western on the forehand, and classic eastern on the backhand so nothing too extreme from me I'm afraid.

I actually started out with a semi-western, but i was hitting with my cousin one day and just trying to moonball her to death, and i looked down and realized my grip was farther over, and that it was more comfortable. No one else can understand how I hit with that grip either. Funnily enough, i can still flatten it out to some degree.

My coach hits the backhand like that when he's playing seriously.

I hit the forehand semi-western and the backhand between continental and eastern.

my forehand is in between eastern and semi-western... great to school extreme gripped players while appearing like you are from the year 1971...

continental is the new extreme anyways... the cycle has moved half a revolution in 30 years...

My grip is pretty much western.

I can play with the Berasategui-Hawaiian grip if I wanted to.

I am always changing my grip, but its generally eastern or semi-western.
