canucks defense and luongo in net just crazy the last games - 6 goals against in their last 6 games - 5 of them have come with the opponent beein on the powerplay. all of these games heve been at home - i really think they hold this form and momentum some days - tonight they visit the nassau col. for the first roadgame in november to face the islanders ...
well, the islanders with backtoback-wins over a really poor senatorsteam (at the moment) - in the end its still just the islanders, 1 of the three worst teams in the league, that has won only 3 of their 10 homegames ...
the canucks never have been a highscoring team - but if they get their defense going and luongo is on fire - they are f*§$%ing hard to beat - in their last game pavol demitra returned to the lineup with 3 assists after missing 10 games - so more offensive power and not only the sedin-twins

both teams with real problems to put the puck in the net atm - have seen the last rangersgame vs. boston - they had sth. like 3 mins 5on3 and managed to get only 1 shot on goal in this time - just horrible ... scott gomez (injured) is a big loss for them ... the senators scored more than 2 goals only once in their last 8 matches - and they faced some real poor teams
