RL, you didn't answer my question. Would such a thread be allowed if it was constructed similar to the Updated Ranking Thread Judio made for the Singles?

Sorry for missing your question.
There would be no problem with a similar ranking thread as the one in GM.
It just seems that Gab was just reporting info that's easily available from ATP's site, and that sort of redundancy is unnecessary. |

I still don't know if there is anywhere on the web available the info about the doubles Ranking points available, but if it is (link appreciated though I will try to inform myself too), I'd be ok to do the Updated Ranking Thread for the doubles.

and what about the Ranking points? How many points does a player/double team get for reaching a particular round? That is what I need to do the updating of the thread...

It's the same as singles. if a tourney is worth 175 points for the singles winner, it's worth the same for the doubles, etc.  |

It is on the ATP web site. But its easier and would attract more people to your site (Which is your job, not mine) to have the rankings updated weekly. Why do they do this in the singles thread, but not the doubles thread. You answer that big guy  . |

Glab, you could do a race thread, like the one in GM for singles. It takes much less time to do than the entry ranking but is interesting for a lot of people to follow the race. I'm happy to help you (or Jelena) if you guys want or don't always have the time to update. but I think both would be good threads for the doubles forum. |
