Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
Deleting that thread was perhaps "overstepping the mark" but I don't think this thread is going to achieve anything more productive than a few rants.
I have heard of forums where you get infracted for using "u" instead of you. Its human nature unfortunately, you give someone power, they use it.

Interesting, cause what happen when you get thousands of infractions? Nothing? Otherwise, how come some posters who are experts on this matter, always being so kind torwards other posters, are still around?

its the abuse of this little moderating duties that concerns me. the greatest damage is to the forum. some intelligent posters have asked me why this abuse is happening and why does it continue to happen.
i dont go after people and i dont attack other posters. i dont send people PMs or anything. all my stuff is tennis related and perfectly legitimate.
the thread about "Nadal vs Djokovic" and who really is better and why was a perfectly normal and legitimate thread. there was no reason to delete the whole thread. no reason at all. it was generating plenty of discussion.
now he is really abusing his duties by editing as many as 100 posts a week that people have posted. this is gross interferance and abuse of his moderating duties. he is not promoting discussions but ending them as soon as he can.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
It's about time moderators were pro-active. many people are fed up with the state of the posting, the level of abuse and trolling that goes on this board. I applaud Raging Lamb for trying to bring a semblence of sanity on this board. Many people will save themselves a lot of grief if they stick to the guidelines on posting in GM.

agreed. its total abuse. i am surprised there is not an outrage over this abuse.
there is no other--not a single moderator--who is getting into everybody`s business with this much regularity and obsession.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
Lets get str8 here - moderator has a certain job. Members make GM in mine field, war zone...Raginlamb can't (I prefer won't) to do his/hers *volontary*? job properly.
Some member was banned coz he dare to put one picture/photo in 'funny pics' - most of you remembered pic with 4 female bottoms (porn he/she said!!!), but he/she never see worse things.
No doubles, triples standards around GM.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
Granted Raging Lamb committed a little abuse of his power as a moderator and maybe lost his judgement a little bit. But what about you clay death? don't you clean up ur mess first before cleaning up this board? Don't you think you are abusing your power as a poster trying to dominate opinions?
Just my two cent!

if I was a mod the first thing I'd do is ban Clay Death.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
At best this thread should be in the error/reporting section of MTF. That's if you think it has any place on the forum at all, along with posters like CD.
Clay Death you don't help your case at all by putting it here. You just make yourself seem more like a troll. Stop filling MTF with garbage Clay Death and I think the moderators will stop treating like garbage. MTF isn't fun anymore, and I think it's people like you that ruined it dude. I don't see how you aren't banned, you purposely make threads to flame players/posters and you wonder why you get in trouble. STFU.

Re: message to MTF owners and adminsitrators
I'm pretty new to this forum and didn't know the mods edited posts. He11, that explains some things. I've looked back and some of my posts and thought, That's not what I said. Have been on plenty of forums, and dealt with deletions and closing of threads, but never saw posts edited..
Now you get to wonder, did I really write the above or not..

its not just a little abuse of power. he is flat going overboard with it.
all i do is try to generate discussions and share my passion for the sport with others. i have no agenda to go after my fellow posters. i am all about tennis and people know that. i also let others have their fair say. quite often, i am respectful and even suggest to the posters that their opinion must be respected.
raging lamb has personal agenda and his agenda is hurting MTF. he is clearly abusing his position that he should have never been given in the first place.
its not enough that for him to end perfectly legitimate threads but now he is handing out infractions for starting them. he is also, as i suggested earlier, in everybody`s business. he keeps editing their posts. you dont see other moderators doing that.
i will have to file a complaint with the owners of this forum.
