The last game was on his serve, he was behind 15-30, with 2 dfs. then he retired. But it was a long while before that game started; i knew something was going on....

Re: Guille in Warsaw
so, onto happier topics, did anyone see the match that will go down in history as ' Federer in the Shredderer'...?? Nadal whooped his ass! I of course was voting for Fed, but geez.... Nadal played as well as he possibly can...which admittedly is at quite a high level, and Fed was at his all-time worst. A terrible technical & tactical display of ineptitude. couldnt make up his mind to have any plan or even stick by it,m and then implementaton was nil.
Also to rafa's credit, usually when a player is playing that bad & with that little energy on the opposite side of the net, your game drops... you can get lulled into bad play yourself. but he kept his intensity and it was just a thorough route.
as bad as guille is right now, and he IS bad ... make no mistake ... he would have won at least 4 games. so....he's just as good as federer!!

LMAO! I thought the same thing. He wouldn't have gotten bageled in that last set though; too proud.
I picked Nadal to win in straights (not publically, people are too crazy and want others to join their little clans ), because his wins over Almagro and Djokovic were quite comprehensive.
I always like to tell my dad about Nadals' performances, it really brightens his day (he's 68)
