Claudia already posted on RF.com. I send her a textmessage after the final, but didn't got an answer, though I think they were probably in a hurry to catch their flight. If a remember right they wanted to go back to Switzerland on Sunday evening around 7 p.m.

I don't have any pictures to share unfortunately because I don't have a digital camera

I haven't seen Roger live yet, since he doesn't seem to want to come to Rotterdam anymore . But hopefully I'll see him next week when I go to RG

Isn't Rotterdam at the same time as Dubai? Or is it a week before?
It it's a week before it would be a good tune up for Dubai, he's usually pretty rusty from not playing at all after the Aussie open.
He did win it once.
Edit: Then again it's a long flight to Dubai (but he lives in Europe anyway, it's not like Rotterdam is that far from Basel).

It's the week before, and Rumour Has It that Richard Krajicek is doing his ultimate best to contract Roger for the upcoming year.

Re: At which tournaments have you seen Roger playing live?
Previous years Rotterdam was the week before Dubai but this year there was a week in between Rotterdam and the start of Dubai but no Roger. Next year Rotterdam will be one of the 500 series of tournaments so the tournament director Richard Kraijcek thinks theat he'll be able to get more top players to come to Rotterdam that way. But I was already pretty happy with the entrylist this year, the top players all lost after the first two rounds but since I was there for the first/second round I still got to see most of them play or train.

By the way you're camera is not choppy at all. Very lovely pics indeed. I need to get a decent point and shoot digital, I meant to buy a medium range prosumer but they are too advanced for me and the price is a bit hefty unfortunately. Maybe next year I will be able to get the more advanced prosumer.

Yep.
I have this strange suspicion that chances are there that Roger WILL indeed participate in 2009...

I think it would not be a bad Idea at all, he'l be able to get rid of the rust, plus its an indoor tournie. He usually succeeds quite well at indoor tournies unless he faces Nalbandian.

You're very, very welcome.
My camera is the most HORRIBLE thing you can imagine. 3 megapixels, - and as I dropped it not just on Spanish vulcano's but just as much in Alpes this year it barely works at all anymore. Had to KICK that thing several times...
I'm on the look-out for a reasonably priced, BETTER one right now.

If Roger does participate in 2009, I'll definitely be going to Rotterdam again. If he doesn't I'll have to check out the entry list first but I thought it was a nice well organized tournament so I think I'll be going back again.

It looks like a very well put together event and the venue seems inviting.
