It's like I expected - when infections like that turn darker, it usually means the worst is over. Don't really feel like giving a Medical Biology Class right here, but it has to do with the demolition of infected tissues etc.

It does seem like he beefed up the security, or is it just the nature of his fan encounters in MC? (pushy fans?)
So, two against one in practice - they make him work hard!

I'm pretty sure Luthi will take a back seat, and possibly voice his concerns to Roger later on.
Roger can't have two coaches, and I'm sure Luthi knows it.

I think you forgot Mirka as coach #3. And that is the way, it will work with Mirka too.
