I haven't had a chance to pay attention to Paradorn in a whole match for a long time. Yesterday's play was really poor. He hasn't added anything to his natural game since he broke through a couple of years ago. By comparison, top players in their early twenties continue to improve and are constantly working on their tactics and shots. Paradorn was so far behind the baseline that he posed absolutely no threat to Andy. Paradorn's money shot forehand kept letting him down also because Andy was putting so much pressure on him. If he plays every opponent the same way he will continue to drop in ranking and lose to top 10 players.
All in all, it was pretty sad and disappointing to see Andy dismiss Paradorn so easily.
