Re: John Isner
I think you took both of those photos, Jamie and Eric. Damn tournaments, it all runs together if you are there for more than one day.

Re: John Isner
How nice is this guy He has the sweetest face
I had the problem of sitting in front of Bruno and other Frenchies during this match Bruno was quite funny. I didn't recognise him at first, so I looked at his tag and came out with the 'Oh you look different with less hair' line. Nicely done Kristen. Mum had been won over because he thanked her for wiping off the water from his seat
But after about the third rain interruption, Clement took 5-10 minutes to get to the court. Poor Isner just standing there, looking sad like he wanted someone to play with [to go home, really. long day. His expression reminded me of Popp, like I would cry if he didn't win]. The umpire said to us Clement wasn't far off being defaulted if he didn't show up. A huge part of me wanted him to be a no-show. But now I can more easily cheer for John tomorrow I suppose

Re: John Isner
Wow, fantastic photos Kristen! I want him to win just so he can get a couple matches under his belt before Australia. I pronounce it "IZZ-ner" but I am by no means a phonics guru

Isner's coach had the pleasure of watching me sit in a puddle and scream out "ahh, fvck!" I'm so classy. I don't even know why they let me into Olympic Park.

Is that why he moved? [If he was the guy in grey, and it may have been later on hehe] Are you going again tomorrow?
EDIT: Maybe since security type people are on the door tomorrow, maybe you won't be there

Ha, he must have moved after I left. Yeah, the guy in the grey tshirt/red shorts was his coach/friend/supporter/someone because James Blake came and sat with us for a while. Notice how I said "us" as a way of making myself feel important when I'm really not...
Hmmm... tomorrow... it was on the cards but now it depends on whether the rain gods are feeling kind or not. I only lasted an hour today. I left a frizzy/sweaty/wet mess. What about you?
re: security. do they check for water bottles being brought in?
re: toilets. walked into the mens today. haha good thing it was a quiet day.

Re: John Isner
Thanks Kristen!!!
I always thought it was Eyes-ner, but all the American players and commentators call him Izzzzzzzner, so I guess that's the correct way.

Re: John Isner
Won today in Q2 over Pashanski 6/3 7/6(2) , up next is Minar for a spot in MD I believe, a very winnable match.
