That it is, as is Mardy's site, which is still on last season. So I'm just going to keep telling myself that he is a new, real coach, until I hear otherwise. It makes me feel better anyway

The hair doesn't bother me any more either
Mardy lost his singles match 6-2, 6-7, 7-6. But him and Serena won the mixed doubles 7-6, 6-2.

Novak hurt his shoulder in the 2nd set, and was pretty sluggish for the 3rd set, but Mardy never stopped fighting. I didn't watch all of it, I woke up at the end of the first set and turned my tv off because I figured it was going to be a blowout, then I saw the score this morning and was surprised.

Mardy's speech was cute. AND, the BEST news, is that he THANKED HIS COACH, who has a name! Craig Boynton(?), AND a trainer named Rory(?)
be still my incredulous heart
edit: I googled him, and he actually appears legit  Works at Etcheberry, which means he's probably tough, and he used to be Courier's hitting partner.

Holy crap
I didn't watch the speech yet, but now I'm fast forwarding like crazy to see it before I go to work!!  It didn't record the players speeches
He was working with Rory at the end of last season. I remember the interview before the New Haven final, he talked about his new trainer and getting fit and what not!

Monday, last on Court 6. If my calculations are right, it'll be sometime in the middle of my night. I will not be live scoring. I'm a bit on the nervous side for the match though... They've never played before.
