Russia and Germany are tied 2-2 in their Davis Cup semfinal Tie in Moscow. And Andreev leads the 5th and deciding rubber 2 sets to 1 over Kolschreiber.

Andreev defefeated Kohlschreiber in 4 sets in the fifth and deciding rubber to lead Russia past Germany and into the 2007 Davis Cup final. Well done to Igor on another huge Davis Cup win. Igor has been Russia's most valuable Davis Cup player this year in advancing to the finals.

Indeed, he's had some impressive wins vs France and Germany, not to mention his great performance in the 1st rd in Chile, and totally deserved his place in the team for the final.  Even if he won't get a chance to play.
Shamil Tarpischev said in his TV programme on Russian TV channel NTV+ tennis that Igor and Misha Youzhny are healthy and will start training in Moscow on Saturday Nov 17th and as I understood they'll fly to USA on Nov 23rd i.e. next Friday. |

Igor got to play vs Bob Bryan the dead rubber and won 6-4 7-6 (4).
Some Russian commentators said that maybe Igor might have had a better chance vs Roddick on the 1st day but Tarpi had his own strategies so ....
Lots of  s to Igor, you'll get your DC title on day, you deserve it.
P.S. He seems to be in good shape. Best of luck next year, Igor!

Yeah, well, it's a totally idiotic situation.  Our boss signed some totally idiotic contracts so I'm  and nervous and don't know shit about what exactly is gonna happen.
