I am an American by birth and upbringing. However, my ancestry is Scottish-German-English-Dutch-French-Irish, in that order.
I know that those areas don't all specifically represent "ethnicities" per se, but they do give a sense of my genetic origins. Also, some of my Scottish ancestry took a detour into Australia for a couple of generations.
Scottish and German are my most prevalent genetic influences, with English, Dutch, French, and Irish farther behind. I should also note that my predominantly Scottish roots resent my English roots and have formed an alliance of sorts with my French roots. Interesting how things like that happen.
Basically, my predecessors conspired to preclude me from having any noticeable traces of melanin. They succeeded.

Well, despite being a Homo sapiens, let's see what's my ethnicity.
I have a long genealogic tree known and I have Portuguese, German, Danish, Spanish, Dutch and native indigenous roots. Very probably I have some African roots too 
So, I'm a Brazilian

As far as I know, I'm 75% Maltese, 25% Scottish.
But regardless, I'm still proud to be an Aussie.

i'm german. both of my grandparents came to the west as poland took over silesia after 1945. they've lived there since the 17th century.
