so hard to choose. I mean most of these album/songs are to close time-wise to have a proper view. Not to mention that to cut it to 5 songs is quite impossible. Anyway let's try :
1) Wilco : poor places
2) The polyphonic spree : guaranteed nightlite
3) Radiohead 2 + 2 = 5
4) Elliott Smith : a distorted reality is a necessity to be free
5) The Shins : turn a square
I would also give a fair chance to Amy Winehouse (wake up alone), The Mars Volta (roulette dares), Stellastarr (Jenny), System of a down (a lot), QOTSA, the Flaming Lips etc.
