Whilst there might be some emphasis on defense by Roma tonight particularly as they are coming off a high scoring draw over the weekend in the Serie A and a terrible month in general having won only 1 of their past 6 games caused mainly through their defensive lapses, Spalletti's rhetoric in the leadup to this game suggests that they will not be changing anything in terms of their style of play:

Sporting are more than capable of scoring themselves as Roma have conceded 12 goals in their last five games. Whilst the weather tonight is for overcast conditions, there is at this stage only a very small chance for rain.
