I am not talking about privileges but more of double standards and stereotypes. My point is to this day in some Southern states, when you are black or Hispanic and murder a white person you automatically get the chair whereas when it's vice versa they reluctantly sentence to death and in some cases just some time as a guest of the state.

I heard of a small town somewhere in Texas where 8 Blacks were executed in the last century yet no white person has been found deserving the Chair. In the most extreme case a white guy murdered a black girl all he got was 3 months from an all white jury! Enough said about the Death Penalty as some innocent people are executed whilst some escape.

Racism is now very stealth in the South, and when you are either Black or Hispanic and are a suspect in a murder case, the notion Guilty till proven innocent will be very likely to apply to you.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

No one automatically gets a death sentence, even in Texas. Only certain murders qualify for the death penalty, and the death penalty is not sought in many death-eligible cases.
