Thank you so much for your offer! Of course we would like to hear any news. So you saw Gastón practicing? How did he seem, was he satisfied with his game, enjoying himself, or just the reverse?

Hope he can play today, though he has company, so he shouldn't be bored.

Play has been cancelled for today and they will be back tomorrow.

Gaston is 3rd match on centre court, before the King.

Gaston retired in his match with Luzzi the score was 6-1 4-6 4-3 his way when he retired.

Not sure what the problem is and hope it's not too serious.

I have no news! He was so close, it must be serious enough for him to retire, especially as he´s a player who never gives up and leaves a court. Maybe the tournament site will say something, for those of you who understand Italian?
I´ll be away for a couple of days, so I hope to get good news when I return! He´s meant to be playing in Tarragona next week...

I just checked the website:
http://www.opencostadaurada.com/07/
and it´s their main news. I imagine he got a WC, so I hope he´ll be well enough to play! From what you posted, it sounds like he twisted his ankle?

This appeared in a Tarragona paper today. I haven´t time to translate, but here is the article:

http://www.diaridetarragona.com/dtgn...?id=8601&sec=4
