Ok. There was no first round Karusevich this time. Artur lost to Vladislav Bondarenko (UKR) 46 63 36
Actually he played much better than in Moscow and Sergiev Posad but it wasn't enough just like if he himself didn't believe he could win. Seems he still can't get over the loss in Almaty when he could have won in two sets but lost in three.

Fed Cup and Davis Cup sparring and cheer-leading is much more important than futures curcuit isn't it?

anyway, even more experienced players got psychological stress after losing a match during which they had 2 matchballs

btw where are pics from Balashikha? I have seen only photos of one megasuperphotograf

Of course it is! Moreover FC and DC both played indoors and not in that strange weather outdoors so it's much more comfortable there!
