Re: John Isner
Too bad John got Ferrer in Cincy. Ferrer is just too tough of an opponent and he was returning John's serves better as the match went on.
Hopefully, he'll get a WC into New Haven and a better draw.

Re: John Isner
Isner has Becker in the 1st round in New Haven.
If he gets past that match he has Ferrer again. Cincy fits
Ferrer's game a lot better than New Haven's hard courts. If he
gets past Becker, I am confident he will beat Ferrer in this go
around. Then it is take your chances time and see how the draw
opens up...

Re: John Isner
It's official folks. Isner has made it. He is getting bashed to
hell and back for his "ugly" game on GM. Great job John and good
luck in the next round against De Vost.

Re: John Isner
Well done John, I watched the second set TB and John played very impressively, hopefully he can go far here, his Grand Slam debut.

GM is quite fickle, earlier this month they were fawning over him.
Good win for Isner, I think he can make it to the third round.

Re: John Isner
I hope John keeps his concentration for this match against de Voest. This is probably his first match on tour where he's expected to win the match and it's in the second round of a slam where John is due for a letdown. Hopefully John can serve big and get some breaks and finish in three sets.
