Re: Thematic Ads
I think that when using a computer at work for non-working purposes it's irrelevant whether it's tennis forum or gay fitness site. If somebody is gay or wants to go to gay pages - why should she/he be discriminated because of it? Why do you feel embarassed? Nobody's business what pages you are browsing, and when you're supposed to work or do classes that time, being caught with opened Wimbledon livescore can be equally harmful.
And honestly, I find these banners rather but in a hilarious way.

Re: Thematic Ads
These ads may not be appropriate, but people using them as an excuse to bash gays and show their homophobia and hatred in either subtle or open ways are just sad and smallminded.

Was my point exactly.

Re: Thematic Ads
When I am at uni on pc, I am NOT at classes, but STILL on a public pc. And I DON'T want those ads. Please get rid of it. There must be another possibility to get money.

Re: Thematic Ads
I actually haven't seen an ad for it for a week or so!
Anyway, i found the real jock web site and signed up to see what it was actually offering. It IS mainly a fitness and nutrition web site - but other areas for dating etc that u can't even access unless you sign up. From what ive seen on the web site and how people responded on here - it's clear to me some people just dont want the word gay on their screen through fear that other people may think that they are gay themselves

Re: Thematic Ads
I agree if you're at work and shouldn't be on MTF but honestly, everybody does.
Are those sites for adults only? If that's the case, they shouldn't be on MTF as this is supposed to be a site for all ages. I won't like my kid to log on to a family friendly site and get exposed to all those adults only web sites.
