Yep it was very close and both deserved to win. But Novak is truely a great champion, as Olivier said after the match. So beautiful to see them both beeing interviewed at the same time, Novak asking the crowd to congratulate his opponent, both leaving the court togethezr while all the spectators where giving them a standing ovation... The best match of the 1st week hands down on all aspects.
The both won exactly the same number of points in those marvellous 4 hours : 165.
I have not seen all matches, but I think that was the best French performance in RG overall. Well played Olivier. But sometimes even I start believing in a curse.
