Re: James Ward
you really are a sad little man! But good at alliteration.
Ward is into the semis. Good for him. He's beaten the people in front of him so far.
All British semis in a foreign futures.
Either - The Brits are improving slightly
or
(the JAZAR view) they are crap but everyone else is crapper.

Re: James Ward
Its a futures, not a Grand Slam. This tends to be the level of the players who enter!

it may be a futures, but its quality is poorer than normal and that is shown by the number of brits in it

Re: James Ward
I have to admit severe disappointment at that. Childs is going nowhere fast and I expected James to beat him.
Still he reached a semi, which is good and he's won a round in Greece F3 as well.

Re: James Ward
More light shed on James' early loss in Bournemouth.
His opponent that day has reached the final qualies round of the French Open ranked 312, beating Sluiter and Mertl.
James was leading 6-5 in his R2 match in Greece when play was suspended. Played to a finish today, with a hopeful quarter final to follow.
