Re: The Almost Guaranteed Point - Bob and Mike's DC Thread!
Bob is a much better singles player, his serve is awesome.... he has played dead rubbers before and seems to get injured less than Mike, who has had problems with his hips before.

Re: The Almost Guaranteed Point - Bob and Mike's DC Thread!
That was Bob's first career singles win on clay He had been 0-5 And he didn't even want to play
DAVIS CUP FIRST ROUND: USA v CZECH REPUBLIC
February 11, 2007
Bob Bryan
Patrick McEnroe
OSTRAVA, CZECH REPUBLIC
THE MODERATOR: Questions, please.
......
Q. Bob, wasn't your brother supposed to play the last game?
BOB BRYAN: No one knew who was going to play. We were in the locker room. He just asked me if I wanted to play. He thought I was the best chance.
CAPTAIN McENROE: I told them it was up to those two. I said, One of you guys is playing, so you decide. I know how these guys operate, so...
BOB BRYAN: I didn't really want to play, but Mike didn't want to play more than I didn't, so I went.
Q. After a match like today, don't you sometimes think it might be good for you to try even more singles in the regular tournaments?
BOB BRYAN: Yeah, I mean, I think it would be a year-and-a-half or two-year investment. It's too late in my career to really do that. We have so many doubles goals that I'd have to stop playing doubles, go to small tournaments, work my way up, get in better shape.
I don't have the time for that. I have too many goals in doubles.

Re: The Almost Guaranteed Point - Bob and Mike's DC Thread!
Oh no .. I can't download torrents ... *weep* ... It was pretty good match .. I remember one situation ...:
Bob fell and our moderators said:
"it is not serious, yes, he's fine .. well he's smiling; I think the rest of US team will make jokes on this in the locker room .."
.. It's not definitely the way they've said it, but I can't translate it properly .. It made me laugh so hard .. LOL
(btw any chance anyone can upload the match on some upl-server like rapidshare or else? .. pretty please ..)

Re: The Almost Guaranteed Point - Bob and Mike's DC Thread!
haha that's funny.
i'm sorry, but the file is simply too big to put up on one of those sites, it's almost 900 MB. There's no way you can download torrents?
Welcome, by the way

Re: The Almost Guaranteed Point - Bob and Mike's DC Thread!
Thanks for welcome .. well, I do not have my own comp right now (dead ) and on my father's one I can't install my BitComet ... .. ok, let's hope I'll get a chance as soon as possible .. hm, maybe I can ask my friends .. And I know it's almost 900MB, I saw the info
And btw, you can split the file in HJSplit or by WinRar then there're more smaller files which you upload separatedly, but I do some stuff like that and it's too much work, I know, so it's not necessary I'll just simply ask my friends to download it for me from torrents. You're great you recorded and made a torrent, that's amazing! Thanks for that!!
--
and not to be too much OT, something to DC:
I was pretty angry I couldn't go to Ostrava to see the match. I had some exams last week so I had to stay home and study, *weep* .. my friend was there and she said it was amazing and BIG, it was sold out, which is not very usual, but yeah, it was Davis Cup, right? LOL And in addition match with USA and not just with USA but with USA's strongest team, I'd say ... people here couldn't believe that McEnroe decided to bring single specialists and a best double risking any injury which will (maybe) cause slight problems to US .. you know, Bryans are not so good in singles and Roddick and Blake are definitely better as singles than in doubles ... but you did well .. It was pleasure to watch (at least in tv) ..
muhehe, I hope my "explanaitions" make sense .. I'm not very good in expressing my opinions in English, which is funny because I can understand when somebody is talking to me but when it's my turn, I'm like a 5 year old baby .. LOL
