Re: Chuuuuuuuuuuucho in Davis Cup, it's time to bring the Cup to Argentina
reporters said after the match that Chucho has to forget quickly this bad day as Nalbandian did against Russia when he played poorly the doubles and then won the next single on Sunday. I hope he could do it.

they say Chucho is not feeling well after the defeat, and he has a cold...but Mancini didn¡t take the final decision yet.

Re: Chuuuuuuuuuuucho in Davis Cup, it's time to bring the Cup to Argentina
This is what Clarin says
The article briefly said that Mancini is thinking on giving some rest to Chucho after the defeat in the doubles match and pick up JM for the fourth point against Meltzer. So if this ii confirmed, JMDP will do his first appeareance on Davis Cup finally

IMHO it´s uncomfortable to have livescores in a tournament thread, I mean, specially when it will (luckily) last the whole year.

After each set comments are fine, but that's why we have a tournament thread on MTF.

yeah.
I mean, I was talking about having 3/4 pages of livescores or short comments during the match, from one single person, in the tournament thread.

It wasn't necessary at all, but that's just me.

there are a lot pf people that doesn't like to go to the thread of livescore in MTF...what i did was for people that cannot watch the match and like Chucho and can see the comments here. Anyway as i opened a thread my comments and report live won't bother you and lau anymore.
I insist the important news to comment is that JM will replace Chucho today.

Re: Chuuuuuuuuuuucho in Davis Cup, it's time to bring the Cup to Argentina
I personally have no problem with livescores I just find it not very 'comfortable', 'practical' (or whatever you want to call it) to have them in the tournaments thread. And that´s why I used IMHO ('in my humble opinion'), because I wanted to make it clear that it was my opinion. You can do whatever you want. I´m not trying to force anything here.
And I think George actually doesn´t agree with me. What I understood is that the 'It wasn't necessary at all' part was refering to create a new thread for livescores as you could have done it here.... At least that´s what I understood, but I guess I could be wrong...
EDIT: Anyway.., there´s already a livescores thread and IMHO that´s just fine.

Re: Chuuuuuuuuuuucho in Davis Cup, it's time to bring the Cup to Argentina
Ok. It seems trendy to give one's opinion so here's mine. It's worth only what I do think. In no way should be taken as an assertion for everyone.
I appreciate comments of a match I can't watch. But I admit I prefer after each set. Point by point is just too much for me. I do comment myself whenever I can but I stick, either to a whole match comment or a set by set. But it's just me.

That's right, there wasn't a need to make a seperate thread, when it could have been done in here.
