I just noticed on Nico's ATP profile a new line is added directly under his name:
---------------------------------------------
Pronounced: la-PEN-tee ->
---------------------------------------------

And Leonardo also got an atp profile now, didn't see it before, but I don't visit atp profiles that often

yeah i already recognized that a little while ago and had to laugh, too. you must look up other names, there are a few that are much funnier (although i can´t remember them at the moment, sorry).
but i didn´t know about leonardo, that´s really cool!

I think Leonardo got his profile, because he played doubles with Giovanni at a challenger in Cuenca last year. His first atp event

Ofcourse
We know everything about him after reading that

Sometimes I wonder how they decide to update profiles and where they get the information. I also think it's weird that some players don't have a profile picture, even though they are quite high on the ranking.
But would they call/(e)mail every player to update his information?

Ecuador leads 2-0!

Rubber 1
Carlos AVELLAN (ECU) vs Rasid WINKLAAR (AHO) 62 62 60

Rubber 2
Julio-Cesar CAMPOZANO (ECU) vs Alexander BLOM (AHO) 64 61 62

Nicolas plays tomorrow:
Rubber 3
Carlos AVELLAN / Nicolas LAPENTTI (ECU) vs Raoul BEHR / Nick VAN ROSBERG (AHO)
not sure what to think about it, he plays only the doubles..it can be a bad sign[he's injured, doesn't want to make it worse] or a good sign[he simply is too good to play them-so to make it more equal...]..

hm that´s really strange. but i can´t imagine he´s injured. as you mentioned yourself, playing although he´s injured would make things worse, so i can´t imagine he wouldn´t risk anything just for the doubles, esp. as the team is able to win without him, too. so let´s hope he just wants the others to get some practice with best of 5-matches.
by the way, he´s out of costa do sauipe which is strange again, but i think he might concentrate on the bigger events that are coming, the masters in miami and indian wells, so that he don´t wanna lose his power by playing "smaller" tournaments. well, i really hope we´ll get some information about his situation soon!!!

i'm worried now that you said he withdrawn from CdS but as u say, I don't believe he'd risk his health playing the DC so maybe it's just cause he feels he needs more time to compete at the atp level...+sometimes players with minor injuries[or recovering from em'] decide to play doubles as it's not really tirening and may be treated as good practice...of course it's not the case when we're talking about dangerous injuries[which I strongly believe is not the case here]

Maybe Nico wants to help the team to get experience in playing DC, it helps if the young ones can practice against the Dutch Antilles .
Hopefully you are right about Nico not having a major injury, I don't think he'll risk playing doubles when that's the case.
I wish Nico would get another webmaster, one who updates more often

I think he should choose a fan for the updates
As you might have seen, I made a website for Fred Hemmes. I started it for fun, but now I really want to update about any news asap. Because it's the only website about him and I like it when I see the visitors increasing .
Sometimes it's not possible to update for different reasons (not enough time, no internetconnection, etc.) and I really walk around all day with "I want to update my website" in my head . Especially when it's 'breaking news'

It's funny to see that when it comes to websites, the people who do it for free (like fans) are sometimes more motivated than people who do it for their jobs.
