it´s actually been a bit difficult, i don´t know if nico played a very bad first set or pujol a fantastic one or maybe both in connection, but anyway...in the end nico won 0-6, 6-3, 6-1 so i´m happy

Yeah!It's a very weird result,but essential is Nico eventually won this match

..still being bagelled in first set..by Marcel G.Pujol..

maybe it was a bet, or he simply didn't have a decent warm-up..

Anyways, good luck for the next match..You're the best in there, vamos!

Vina del Mar and Buenos in round robin system. Let's hope Nico is going to honour those tournaments. In worst case there will be Nico in twice ration

nico is doing brilliantly in montevideo, today he´ll play canas in the final. well i´m not sure if he´ll be able to beat canas but the final is a great result anyway i think! he won´t play aracaju next week although he´d been in the final there last year, but i don´t know the reason, maybe he´s just tired.

and something else i would like to talk about...in the montevideo thread, i read that nico said his goal is to reach the top 30 again and then he´d finish his career. do you think he´d really finish then? i mean if you´re back where you haven´t been for years, would you really finish? i can´t imagine it but i´m a bit worrying though

! what do you think?

I just had a look which place he can reach in the ranking next week (supposing he loses vs Cañas today). He'll then go up to 61 or 62 or so. And even when he wins he won't really get higher, as between 60/61 and 59/60 there is a big gap.

Well Willy won the Tournament. And I don't know why Nico would work so hard to get back to where he once was and then retire? I mean if he wants to retire why make all the effort to get back to where he was and then just stop

exactly my thoughts! i just can´t imagine...even if he has that kind of plans...that he would really retire when he´s able to play all tournaments he wants because of a good ranking.

I don't think he'll retire any time soon. Maybe he just means that's where he'd like to be when he does retire
