Default Visit To The Kremlin Cup. Impress Moscow Fab!!

After that great doubles victory associated to Richard in Metz, no time to rest as Fab is schedule to play In Moscow. In singles and in doubles, back with his usual partner Nenad.

1st round against W. Moodie in singles, and against Allegro/Bracciali in doubles.

Good luck Fabrice!!

Yes, Good Luck Fabrice!

Choupi, I have a question for you, if you don't mind.....

I was wondering about something Fab said in the article you most recently translated for us... He said something like.... My partner (Nenad Z.) isn't around, as usual.

That came across to me as possibly unhappy feelings....Did I just misunderstand....or did you get the feeling that Fab isn't too happy with Nenad when you read the article?

Saying that he 'isn't around', and then adding 'as usual'....just sounded a bit frustrated perhaps??

Well, I think that what Fab meant was that Nenad wasn't playing that event for reasons that are personal to him -maybe he needed a break or wanted to stay with his family- and that, as Fab was playing in singles, he would have to find another partner if he wanted to play doubles. And he picked Richard, as they had already talked about it, and told each other they would play together one day. That's what I have understood.

Fab won his match against W. Moodie 6/3 6/2. Next opponent: Kravchuk Konstantin. He's also to play doubles with Nenad today.

Wow. I thought Moodie's serve would make it very tricky for him to win but he still won anyway.

Choupi....Thanks for giving me your opinion on what Fab meant in the interview. I'm glad there aren't any problems between him and Nenad.

Fab is certainly starting out this tournament well, in doubles AND singles!

Fab won 6-1 6-1 congrats
his next opponent is the winner of the Kohlschreiber-Korolov match, two big hitter. It will be difficult but Fab could do it.

Kohlschreiber's next. He's sort of a hard-hitter so hopefully, Fab can make him go crazy.

There was a nice article about Fabrice yesterday in L'Équipe.
(Sorry, I don't have much time to translate the articles this week, I'll try to make a summary later if some of you need it).
It's not really about Moscow, more about his season and his goals for the future.
Quote:
