I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one dealing with this frustration when it comes to David. I wasn't a fan of his right away but it still bothered me that he wasn't being given any credit for his run at Wimbledon in 2002 and then when he was able to back it up with results this year STILL nothing
. I don't know why I'm all that surprised. Rainer has had an awesome year but the "casual fan" would have no idea about it. Same goes for Guille.
It just gets to be so frustrating, not to mention pathetic, that we often know more about the players than the "experts" do. I can't even begin to tel how many times i've yelled at my TV when they get their facts wrong
. I wonder if there will be a day when Tennis is treated with more respect as an International sport. I know it's a pipe dream but hey...
