Why the hell was Greg wearing all black? Was he going to a funeral later?

Why the hell are Djokoking's outfits always so bad? Does he just have deplorable taste?

Every time I say something, you always bring Djokovic into the mix

Anyway, I'm watching the match and just saw Greg's fake jumping dropshot (or whatever that was). So, so bad

Just saw a bit of the match. Rafa has been SO good at the net these last couple matches in Rome, really good to see.

It's a reprise of the Darth-Fed look GOAT wore a few years back at USO. BabyFed has a tantrum every time someone compares him to Sr. but he wears Fed's pajamas in secret...

No. Like Fed's disastrous Rome final last year, Dimitrov was an UE machine for much of this match with the occasional high risk shot landing in for a winner. Nadal was essentially getting a practice session in and while he didn't get a chance or really even need to hit many winners, his shot depth, net play, serve and FH reliability were all better than they have been in recent mismatches. Also seemed to have better lateral movement, though that might just have been down to Dimitrov's weak groundstrokes (I'm almost tempted to call it pushing ).

Hard to take much from this match for the final, but it did at least build on my belief from after the Murray match that Nadal won't put in a stinker tomorrow or get steamrolled.

Match result dedicated to this glorious trolling from the WWW thread:

The easiest match for Rafa in a long long time

Sharapov almost getting booed towards the end. Yes, NIDal was much better than in the first rounds but Grigor could still play much better and at least madea match of it.

Unbelievable that the player who played the best in the semis...is Raonic! Seriously, Nadal wasn't even that good IMO, putting balls short like last time. Problem is, Dimitrov is too! So much far on the baseline and was not potent enough to make Nadal pressure himself. The usual forehand shanks to the end was there too so it is not like Nadal levelled up and GOATed from his past matches. I wonder what is the problem with Dimi when he had won a Clay tournament and had good rest after Haas retired last round.

I felt Ferrer was more aggressive than Dimitrov in his match against Djokovic than this match against Nadal -- that is how passive Dimitrov was in this match and it didn't help as he still had many UEs.

Rafa did nothing but Grigor was awful. IMO Nishcori,Murray showed Rafa is beatable on clay. As Murray said it is better to try some things now vs Rafa in MS than in GS. If he plays vs Rafa in Wimbeldon he knows what he needs to do. That is how Soderling beat Rafa in 4 rd at FO . They both played just a week before FO in Rome and Rafa beat him 62 61 but at FO Soderling made Rafa to look awful. Rafa looked great vs Monaco,Berdych,Nieminem but Nishikori outplayed him . In GS' players have a day off b/w matches.
