Default Re: Tie-break's stuff

Tie-breaks with two changes of ends at least (before Monte Carlo 2014)

[tie-breaks '8/6' and longer...]

Below a record-list of 55 best-active & 82 non-active guys ("best" by my criteria), who have played at least 100 main-level tournaments.

I'd propose a term "standard tie-break" for most tie-breaks we witness & it's quite broad term because stretches between 7/0 & 7/5 scores. No matter whether it's 7/0 or 7/5, in both cases (and four others in between), there's only one change of ends (at 3-all, 4:2, 5:1 or 6:0). Vast majority of tie-breaks that everyone experiences over the course of his career, I'd call "standard ones".
How to call longer than standard ones? This is what I propose focusing on number of points not the time of play:

- 2 changes of ends - quite long TB (8/6... 9/7... 10/8)
- 3 changes of ends - long TB (11/9... 12/10... 13/11)
- 4 changes of ends - very long TB (14/12... 15/13... 16/14)
- 5 changes of ends - marathon TB (17/15... 18/16... 19/17)
- 6 changes of ends - record TB
(within 44 years since the tie-break inception, there hasn't been an official TB longer than 20/18)

* In parentheses: long, very long, marathon & record TBs respectively...

Great work as always, Voo

No surprise Karlovic played more than anyone else. A bit surprising to see Djokovic on 50,8%, though.

Karlovic at 500 is shameful, though him being involved in many long ones is NID

Montanes is such a mental GOAT

Surprised Bellucci is so high and Djokovic so low
