6-2-2-2? are you on drugs

dream on

you don't win as many slams post 26 than you did before, no player does except, what, Agassi?

put money on that, it will be funny to see you lose it

Nole's career will end up pretty similar to Andre's peak days. Win a lot of AOs, and then burn out as the year is about to end. This is just my opinion, so don't flame me for it.

you guys are smoking something or have just become tennis fans if you truly to do not recognize and understand how hard it is to win as many slams in the second half of your career as first, and beyond that, also delusional if you to do not accept how hard it generally is to win a slam, although occasionally someone will take a slam with an incredibly fluke easy draw

you say it like it's an easy thing "oh yeah Djokovic will win 6 more" but it's anything but easy

he won one last year. if he doesn't win a two slams this season, you all will be delusional with your predictions

frankly I can't believe the vast collection of posts on this thread, that this many people would realistically think that Djokovic will not decline at all and/or that other players won't step up? you all are dreaming

all players have a fall, and with his playing style Novak is definitely not a candidate for not being likely to get injury

He won't be getting that second Wimbledon title this year.

Feel free to quote this.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's what happens.

He's good enough to win RG and should definitely win it, but twice? I say he gets one over the next 3 years. Then he is 29 (turning 30) and trying for another... But by this time Nadal will be gone, Murray will still be a clay mug, and Tomic will skip every French open because he was told he couldn't base-jump off of the Eiffel Tower; so it should be guaranteed, no?

You're aware that only Delpo is younger than him in the top 10 for ages now and that due to his light build he's having only a fraction of strain on his joints compared to Nadal for example? Who do you see as a threat to him and Andy in next 3-4 years? I'm not saying he will get there but to dismiss it so decisively is...not wise to say the least.

Errr...what?

Three or four years is a LONG time; I really don't think we should be taking Djokovic's successes for granted these next three seasons.

Firstly, it's taken him from 2008-2013 to amass his first six majors - that's five and a half seasons. At 26 - if past players are anything to go by - he's in his mid-to-late peak. Predicting him to double his tally at this stage is a BIG ask.

Secondly, three years previous to Djokovic's first major win, he won a total of 0 titles, reaching 1R AO, 2R RG, 3R WIM, 3R US, and a best of 3R in the Masters events. So who's to say another younger player with a similar record, or someone not yet on the radar, won't be winning majors in three years time??

I'm not disputing that. I'm not even saying it will be Djokovic who will win everything in sight in that period. It could be Murray just as well. I'm mostly referring at the big generation hole from '89-94' approximately which leaves no real contender apart from Tomic or Dimitrov, although they are far from being on a good path atm. We could end up with no major threat for Murray and Djokovic until they are 29-30 years old.
