My bets for today:
Odds-on:
Tsonga 640 (7/20) - Janowicz has not shown much form this year
Youzhny 392 (3/4) - he's 7-2 H2H against Simon and Simon didn't impress yesterday
Paire 260 (17/20) - Benneteau has been miserable lately but hit us badly yesterday, so a smaller bet against him today
Murray 880 (3/16) - Andyhas no business losing this one
Wawrinka 190 (7/10) - Betting against the Dog....
Ferrer 260 (1/5) - Ferrer ought to win but I'm not entirely convinced
Gulbis 700 (37/100) - Troicki becomes the first man I've bet against 10 times.
odds-off:
Chardy 70 (23/10) - Decent chance for Chardy here, I felt
Ramos 60 (49/30) - Ramos could make problems for Kohli

Murray

I had sworn off betting on the big 4 and it worked so well for me. I start off again and lost big on Federer last week and now seems like I will be losing big(by my current standards) on Murray too. My streak of jinx bets continues.

Does not look like a good day for me, though. Tsonga's loss cost me. Wawrinka's didn't as his match was forfeited. Youzhny's didn't either - I managed somehow to not bet on him even though I claimed to in the market and also listed him here. Still, Tsonga's loss means I have to be right in basically every other match today to get a plus.

Murray was really close to elimination, but he's back on even terms, one set each. And then he withdraws!! WHAT?? Immediately after winning the 2nd set! Well, as I said, not a good day for me

See this thread. As someone in there mentioned, I will remember to bet against him on his next birthday.

Not that bad a day for me. If Chardy loses(he is currently a set and break up), I will be in a loss of 126. If he wins, positive of 139. Which will further increase by 20ish if Lorenzi/Strace win. The extra 980 on Berdych/Stepanek gave me 539(0.55 odds) which was a real steal. Won 765 on Paire and 265 on Simon. If Chardy wins, I will put a small amount on both Fognini and Troicki, such that I can't go in negative for the day. Reasonably happy with my day. Seems like my bad streak is over.

Murray's birthday? I should have remembered. It is my Mother's birthday too. She would have been 75 today. She didn't follow tennis, though, and Murray hadn't made that big of a splash yet when she died five years ago.

I'm glad you're having a decent day after all. Chardy is 5-1 up now, looking good for a small consolation for me too, but it won't be enough to get France back up in my nation stat. When this day started, Scotland was #1 and France #2. Currently in the lead - Australia, for the most part thanks to your Matosevic tip. I haven't bet on any Aussie since.

Chardy won. I suddenly realized I am on a 5 match winning streak when betting on someone with higher odds than 2. Fascinating. Early on odds-on gave results and odds-off not at all. Now it's reverse.

Great score, Martin! You rock this week

I went +628 on Monday and +1769 on Tuesday, but couldn't stay manage a 3rd straight good day. Today for me:
Tsonga -640
Youzhny 0 (!)
Paire +221
Murray -880
Chardy +161
Ramos -60
Ferrer +52
Gulbis +259

In total -887. Had I avoided the bet on Murray I would have been at practically zero for the day.

My stats can be a little doubtful in the start by example in tournaments like San Jose, Memphis, Acapulco I bet in less than 4 matches so it was easy to have a positive tournament and I bet a lot in Federer in both semifinals of AO and Dubai The heart win me in that matches.

Yesterday was my worst day ever, -9332, beating the previous worst Friday (-7770) comfortably. Before that worst day was Thursday with -6530. So, I beat my record for worst day thrice in six days.

Anyway, I'm not completely wiped out. The Marerro/Verdasco bet saved me. The Federer bet too earned me a small amount. 4k is decent enough to play with. Just need to take care so that I have enough left with me for RG.

Goal: vBetting career net: -30k to 0 by the end of this season
I think that my goal is the same be positive at the end of the year so far -11,685.

Congrats for the great week that you are having Marto

Great three days. You must have almost come out of your vBetting career negative. I now have started thinking twice if I am about to place a bet against the one you have placed.

+31 for yesterday, -7697 for Rome.

Roller coaster day for me. First Gulbis couldn't finish it. Chardy was up a break and had a great chance to go up two breaks in the third, but then he collapsed. -389 till now. A 400 bet pending on Richie and a late 3000!! bet on Federer. Need both of win. Allez!

Not a very good day for me either. I was done in - again - by Del Potro. I honestly have no idea why I bet on him. Total so far:

Djokovic +220
Del Potro -700
Berdych +174
Nadal +120
Chardy -175
Ferrer bet abandoned
Total -361.

All I have left is 100 on Federer, for a possible win of 22. I have calculated I need to bet 1650 on him to have a chance of a plus for today. I haven't yet decided if I want to do it....40 more minutes to think about it. He just came out of a vicious negative stat and back to decency...1650 minus would be enough to see him 3rd last, only above Del Potro and Almagro. On the other hand, a win would see him back to top-5. Tempting.
