nice win, happy that he lived up to his seeding and picked up a handy 27 points it was pretty weak considering there had been challengers before in the area and now some after. and yeah i agree hopefully he still has enough in the tank to make an impact this week.
Clezar next. I really hope James can win this one. He's on a Challenger quarter-final losing streak (lost his last five). He often gets a seeded spot so makes it to the last eight, but then doesn't beat the seeded opponent.
The first time (out of two total) I bet on a sports result was Nadal versus Soderling French Open 2009 (Nadal -x.5 games).
He's had trouble with Clezar in the past. Can't see him winning this one.
Learned from past experiences no doubt and polished off Clezar 64 63.
Plays No.1 seed Rajeev Ram next - a winnable match as Ram is more of a indoor/hard player, so can be beaten on clay by a clay courter - hope so anyway.
