A fugitive suspect wanted in the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 10-year-old Northridge girl has been spotted crossing into Mexico, Los Angeles Police Chief Charlie Beck said today.
Authorities said video footage shows Tobias Dustin Summers, 32, crossing a footbridge into Tecate, Mexico, a few days ago. Summers was charged Wednesday with 36 counts of sexual assault as well as kidnapping and first-degree burglary. If convicted, he faces multiple life terms in prison.
