Liam It's a good win over Pauffley, and Griekspoor is very beatable.

Swearing out loud. Already following the steps of his country hero, Murray. This can only mean he is going to be the next british GOAT, for sure!

I would not call him a doubles player, since he doesn't focus of doubles more than in singles. He tries to play both the same way. But obviously he is been more successfull in doubles. Former top 100, 5 challenger wins, plus 5 RU trophies. He is not a bad sinlges player. Former top 200 and a RU in a challenger, plus several Futures wins.
I would say, in a way, he is a bit like Llodra. Of course i am not comparing the quality of the players. Just in a way that they both play singles and doubles almost everytime, but with more success in doubles in both situations

If he is still doing his swinging lefty serve a lot . " not saying he is I don,t now " then maybe that should stop being his main serve . If it is . He looked really promising a few years ago but now I am not so sure. Not reaching one futures final is pretty poor . If he is going to be a big player . It all seemed to go wrong after that boys Wimbledon final .

Re: Great Britain F8 [18 March/Sunderland/Hard]
yeah, indeed. he was looking way better 2 years ago than nowadays. which, for a youngster, who had no serious injuries, is something really bad. he should change something, maybe a coach change or something, to try to fulfill his potential, which is a lot, imo

He has completely remodelled his serve and it no longer swings anything like it used to do

Yes, In retrospect it was the worst thing that ever happened to him. It got him a huge amount of publicity and caused his own expectations to soar and I don't think that he was emotionally ready for either. If anything I think he wants success too much and ends up putting too much pressure on himself when he is on court, hence the extremely negative reactions and tantrums when things go wrong. He needs to chill out a bit a start enjoying the game again.
