Just stumbled upon these forums in a search for a local tennis forum. Figured I'd join up.
And while I'm at it, let me begin my rant that having to drop your rackets off for restringing, and having to wait several days for them to get around to it, wow... it's like going through withdrawl. And figures, this weekend is beautiful!!  Sad. |

Welcome to the forums TeeJay! Too bad about the stringing situation, I would say find a different shop to get your frames strung at if even after days the job is not great. Maybe try learning to string yourself or look for a shop which strings at a shorter period.

Well, it's the weekend... most places wouldn't be open anyways, so if this place is gonna have it back to me on Monday, that's really not too bad.

Welcome, TeeJay. My racket's being strung now too...I can feel your pain. Fortunately, they're calling for rain today here...but the weekend should be nice. First USTA match is next week. Gotta get ready.
