Re: Dubai SF: Tomas Berdych def. Roger Federer 3-6 7-6 (8) 6-4
swiss frauds like choking match points and and break points in 5th sets
it makes losses more 'heroic'
and of course
it means they get to steal love
and media admiration from the actual winners
even when they lose

Federer has great endurance, but not compared to the likes of Djokovic, Nadal and Ferrer.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Bravo. Mimic give it up old sport. And stop making ridiculous statements.

do you need pics of the taping that was on his thigh during that Wimbledon run?

The great and almighty Roger Federer is more susceptible to age than an inferior David Ferrer? I don't think so.

Ferrer didn't reach his peak until very late in his career while Federer started his peak 9 years ago. Are you really this dense? Ferrer is playing at his top level while Federer is clearly significantly worse than he was 4 years ago. Are you really this dense? How good is Djokovic going to be in 5 years?

He didn't play great, his forehand had a shaky day and Berdych bullied him. Shit happens. But that's the only time I can recall him being a sourpuss.

I'm talking about aging in the context of "DECLINING"....aka: The great and almighty Roger Federer is more susceptible to [a decline because of his] age than an inferior David Ferrer?.
Age in relation to QUALITY....not the literal process of "getting older"

Ferrer peaked at an older age than Federer did. Simple as that.

That's my point. AGE does not preclude someone from playing as well or even better than they had in years prior. And such is seen in Ferrer. Blaming all of Federer's losses solely on his age is bogus.

Oh god you've really reached new lows making excuses for Federer's losses that happened years ago.
You do know that several players have taping on body parts, or support, and still win slams? Stop with the cry baby injury excuses. Fed is human after all, he does lose (without injuries)

I was thinking the same. it's a new tournament already. Fed will probably win it and then the dancing and the gnashing will turn around and everyone will forget what they said in this thread. Or at least pretend they forgot v

Apart from Feldman of course, who will show up in here every week to make a fail fanboy crying excuse and then tell Roger to retire.

Pretty much. Fed wins or makes the final in IW and nobody will be talking about his great form and how he proved us all wrong again.
