Who will coach Gaël?
Give your opinion!
I was thinking about Rasheed, who would work with Jo and Gael but it's pretty difficult to manage. Who is free?

Why should Gael return to Rasheed who is overestimated in my view anyway.
From an outsider's subjective perspective, coaching is not Gael's main problem, but maybe he should find new and different medical advice.

two players who aim at top-5 and top-10 can't have the same coach, that's impossible.
I think Gaël needs a coach, as he seems to have problems of self-disciplin then I would be interested to know who will do it.
But yes he has other medical problems to solve.

Re: Who will coach Gaël?
Few lines of his father in Le Parisien today and he seems ready to be his coach Hopefully I think this won't happens. For the medical advises I think Gael should already follow the ones he has by the doctor

Re: Who will coach Gaël?
Gaël and his agent are looking for someone to prepare next year
He visited Tennis Club de Paris this week-end and then said hello to Thierry Champion who works there, but Gaël says he has not thought of Champion to be his coach.
Champion says it would be better if his coach knew him well not to waste time. Champion says it's good that Gaël made that decision because he had a little bit lost his way recently.

Re: Who will coach Gaël?
Di Pasquale says Gael is preparing for clay season at Roland Garros
Quote:

Excellent news. Clement should have him as the third singles player behind Richard and Jo in the DC tie.

Re: Who will coach Gaël?
Monfils has still not found a coach. The FFT decided to help him and given him Winogradsky until Wimbledon. Wino works for FFT doing the link between CNE and INSEP. Di Pasquale decided that it will be him that follows Gael during clay season. Let's see how it works.

This looks more like a stopgap to me. It is a pity, Gael has so much potential.

Re: Who will coach Gaël?
I've repeatedly read that he was looking for a foreign well-known coach. "L'Equipe" says that he especially had contacts with Larry Stefanki who apparently refused.
It seems that Monfils has not given up this idea of looking for a foreign coach but if he can't find one and if things go well in next months, Winogradsky may become a long-term option.
