Gaël got a wild-card for the main draw in Rotterdam.

He's already officially out of Indian Wells.

As for Miami, it seems that it's not decided yet but that he'd rather be absent : apparently it's his agent who decided for him for Indian Wells and who announced him that he was 30 ranks behind the cut in Miami :

Somwhere else I saw he said that he doesn't care about the rankings but that he doesn't understand the ATP's work and how they can rank him so low

He will prepare for clay season now, I still think Davis cup is possible as the French usually trust him a lot on clay and in Davis cup.

Gael is very good on clay, no doubt, but without match practise from now to April and a ton (9 to be precise) of other French players far ahead of him in the ranking, I doubt that Clément will put him up against Argentina. Unless very strange things happen to at least half of the other nine guys, I don't see that happen.

He won't play in my opinion, he won't play on ATP tour in March and has no reference for this season. Gasquet is in good shape and Tsonga is the n°1. I would love it but he's really too far. And he doesn't trust himself for the moment ...
