He's the best shooter in all of biathlon!

Is biathlon popular in Bulgaria? If so, are they interested in hosting the WC races?

Because the European Championships is a worthless competition with no purpose.

Biathlon is very popular here, our only Winter Olympic champion is from biathlon, we host WCh in 1993, but we should improve a lot to have WC again here

Congratulations

I remember European Championship was prestigious in the 80s, but since then only Bulgaria and a few others send their best competitors. Do you know why the EC kept such a high standing in Bulgaria?

Oh I remember that race. Our own Andreja Grasic has gambled away the gold medal at the last shooting, missing twice.

It's hard for me to believe Bulgaria will host WC races soon. France, with so many champions does not host a WC Stage. They were supposed to two years ago, if I remember correctly, but the stage was moved to Austria due to lack of snow.

Yup Annecy will be the third stop in the 13/14 WC season.

I suppose they can't afford to drop one of the usual host places because they all seem profitable and well visited.
