Overall decent match with two bad games from Dimitrov on his serve each set. It was enough for DP, who played far better from baseline than yesterday.
Dimitrov was just really bad at return.

Oh that's true. When I was watching it I wondered why he didn't vary the serve, its effective because of power but against the top 4 they would be able to read that serve better than Grigor did today.

Taking only the top 4 into account, it's not a big issue against Federer and Nadal. Against Djokovic and Murray though, as soon as they read his patterns he stops getting free points on serve. Actually, even Ferrer can read his patterns like an open book, hence JMDP's struggles against him.

This is definitely something that can and should be worked, he has improved his serve a lot in the last year but it's still too predictable and a liability against the best returners.

Del Potro is played very well. He's too strong for Grigor at the moment, but Grigor will be a force to be reckoned with very soon.

Del Potro will take the title.

Dimugtrov is a clown of epic proportions. Del Shitro is very beatable ballbasher with limited game no reason to lose to him

Del Potro played like GOAT because Dimitrov's game is like a worse version of Federer and the whole tour has had enough practice against Fed's shots.

Also he needs to change the pace of his shots. It is just way too predictable and Del Potro made like zero unforced errors and was playing like Djokovic just cleanly reflecting all of Dimitrov's shots without fuss.
