Seems that after showing who's the boss in 1st set, Charly wanted to gift this match to Rafa who needs ranking points after being aside so long.

Btw. How come it's so difficult to write São Paulo correct in match threads?

Hoping for a Nadal vs Nalbandian final, only reason I don't mind Nadal winning this match.
Did he tank?

How did you learn about how fast the court is? Are you actually in Brazil watching it by court side ?

It's good Rafa decided to play SA tournaments. he is nowhere near his form which is expected but he does need to find his game quickly, not so much time before RG.

Anyway, a win is a win. Hope for another final, hopefully against Nalbandian, would be fun to watch.

So is Rafito with his fistpumping in his opponents face, injury faking, coaching by tio toni, time wasting, vamosing etc

Yeah, Nadal is the epitome of sportsmanship and likability

Berlocq is pretty likable IMO, big fighter, occasionally does something funny

It was a bad match from Rafa but, as gulzhan says, a win is a win and Rafa now is far from playing his overall game. But he has to play matches in order to recover the feelings on court. Nadal could perfectly have lost agains Carlos Berlocq, who did errors at the end of the 3rd set.

Nadal has to be quicker because his gamestyle depends a lot on how well he does the court coverage and since his comeback in Viña he is not as strong at the baseline as before. But it is a matter of time, Nadal came back to tour only ten days ago!

at these sad little Fedtards crying about the crowd.

Didn't see them complaining about the Nalbandian Almagro match although it was just as bad there.

It is true the Brazilians are not the last word in kindness & compassion (see: GlennMiryni) but sometimes you have to man up and play through it.

You dimwits need to rub 2 brain cells together and realize they want a Nadal-Nalbandian final. Don't take it personally.
