Re: San Pablo QF: Nadal def. Berlocq 3-6 6-4 6-4
Warlocq had the match on his racket. Could easily have won 2-0 as most tennis experts predicted beforehand. Sadly he's a gentle soul and saw that Nadal was struggeling. He tanked to reload for future more worthy opponents. Nadal is no longer a threat.

Awful court, disgusting crowd. Missed the celebration at the end, I'm sure it was spectacular.

Nadal winning was not that bad, but the crowd cheering against Berlocq's mistakes, whistling at him, was simply disgusting.
Sao Paulo should win the mug of the month award. Not just the tournament organizers, but the tournament as a whole.

He was under great pressure from the vicious crowd. Have you seen the match? Every time he made a mistake, they were cheering like crazy. It was like a Davis Cup match, but more vicious.

TV network which owns the rights for this tournament should put cameras on higher position because when nadal is returning he is permanently out of cadre

Re: San Pablo QF: Nadal def. Berlocq 3-6 6-4 6-4
Just a pity I couldn't watch any match yesterday!. Amazing performance for Berlocq and it seems to be that he had some chances according to what I read on here!. Now Nadal has a free pass to the final as he is playing Alund in SF

Re: San Pablo QF: Nadal def. Berlocq 3-6 6-4 6-4
pisspoor match
rafa at the challenger level (actually it was sad to watch him vulnerable like this) but still a few balls when he tried to play well on important points, he was light years ahead of berlocq
charly's choking was i did like his s&v though, won many points on that, i wonder why more players don't embrace this tactic after good kick serve and rafa outmaneuvred to the corner... wtf with today's tennis, that a 30 yo clay journeyman can regularly play and win points off s&v and vast majority of atp stars can't?
rafa is probably still gonna win... the crowd is quite mad for him and the opponents are not better than him , i guess bolelli would be even bending less than nalbandian

Re: San Pablo QF: Nadal def. Berlocq 3-6 6-4 6-4
Since the court is almost quicker than a proper indoor hardcourt, and with defensive movement being almost impossible, I honestly think Nalbandian could beat Nadal 6-2 6-2 or something like that the way Rafa is playing.

The crowd won't let that happen. Seriously, I don't think I have seen a crowd like this before.
