Absolutely! And that's exactly what I said in another thread.

You can add abraxas21 to that list too.

I think the crowd was terrible. Somebody told me the crowd was awful last year as well, when Leo Mayer was playing Bellucci.

Unfortunately there's nothing anybody can do about crowds' bad behaviour. They managed to get into Charly's head, but I feel he could have won that match.

Still, good showing, Charly. Great performance.

And also great performance by Nadal: he was almost like an evil twin, he was playing so badly, yet he kept fighting and trying to find a way to win in those conditions. Rafa the competitior won.

I actually enjoyed the match...You can sue me now.

And who are those "many more" ?

I mean overall those ones are still a very small minority of posters, yet I read talking about Fedtards everywhere

If I was considered as part of Fedtards, and a few others like me, I would understand, but if people keep on telling me "no you're not a Fedtard, you're a Fedfan, it's different" blablabla ... I wonder who these "many more" are : thanks for telling me who they are, especially from the ones who keep on speaking of Fedtards every where like ProdigyEng and Certinfy Thanks in advance

I'd put you on the Fedtard list.

It's ok. Some of my best friends are Fedtards.

I only saw parts of the match, but for those complaining about the crowd. They paid good money to be there, tickets for these match as I recall were around 50-100 dollars, and all 10 thousand people who were there did not pay this to see Carlos Berlocq. This is almost like an exhibition event for Nadal. Europeans and Americans have the luxury of having several opportunities to see tennis greats in the season, this once in a life time opportunity for several Brazilians to see a legend live, that they paid good money to see, forgive them if they are vocal about it.

doesn't mean they can cheer Berlocq DFs, boo him and not show him any respect though.

Clueless 'plastic' fans with no tennis knowledge- thought better of Brazil.

There's nothing wrong with cheering for Nadal: of course I understand they wanted him to win. But they insulted Charly, they clapped double faults, they made fun of him, they interrupted him, after he made a DF , next time he failed a 1st serve. someone shouted "C'mon, give us another double", and people laughed... Really too much, even if it had been a Davis Cup match it would have been too much.

If Warlocq always plays like he did in that first set, tennis might as well not exist because we know he would just win everything. And that was only 1% of his magical potential as well. But luckily for fellow players, he is a generous, kind-hearted, loving, compassionate superhero of a man. If anything, they should thank him for not dominating the sport (eg. this match for one such example).
